1. Custom Design & Layout

We start by designing the green around your available space. This can include custom shapes, multiple putting areas, fringe, chipping areas, sand features, curves, and other unique elements. The goal is to create a green that looks natural within your backyard rather than a simple rectangle of turf.

2. Complete Ground Preparation

A quality putting green starts underneath the turf. We prepare the existing area by removing or adjusting existing materials, establishing the proper elevations, grading, and creating the foundation necessary for the finished green.

3. Custom Contours & Breaks

One of the biggest differences between a basic turf installation and a custom putting green is the shaping underneath it. We can create different elevations, slopes, breaks, and contours so the green actually has character and provides different putting challenges.

4. Professional Putting Turf

The putting surface is carefully selected and installed specifically for putting applications. The turf is installed to follow the custom shape and contours of the green while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

5. Fringe & Border Areas

We can incorporate fringe turf around the putting surface to create a more realistic golf-course appearance. These areas can also be designed to create different shots and playing options around the green.

6. Real Golf Sand & Sand Features

For clients who want something truly unique, we can incorporate real golf sand and custom sand areas into the design. These features can add another dimension to the backyard and make the green feel more like a miniature golf course.

7. Cups, Flags & Putting Features

The green can be customized with multiple cups and flag locations, allowing the homeowner to change the setup and create different putting challenges. The number and placement of features can be designed around the size and layout of the green.

8. Seamless Installation & Detail Work
